Trent Reznor said he had arrived to the festival some days before the gig, and that he went to see the performance of Skinny Puppy, and then met the guys backstage. Back in 1989, Nine Inch Nails opened for Skinny Puppy on their VIVIsectVI Tour. Nitzer Ebb also participated, making the festival seem like an industial showcase.
