During Closer, Trent Reznor's microphone completely dropped out, about halfway through the song. Trent proceeded to throw the malfunctioning microphone into the crowd and the microphone stand at the person who was running the mixer. The rest of the band continued to play. They stopped shortly thereafter and a new microphone was setup. Trent apologized and asked if everything was working, the band restarted and played the song in full.
