- Website: Fictional website created for the story of Year Zero. On first glance, the website appears to be nothing more than a large graphic, with a simple, patriotic, (if somewhat propagandistic) American message, and it is labeled at the bottom as coming from the US Bureau of Morality. Upon more digging, a message board is revealed in which citizens are discussing many things about society, mostly involving resistance to the oppressive authority in place.

Aphex Twin
The stage name of Richard David James. He is an artist who has contributed on remixes for NIN. And, with the track "At The Heart Of It All," he is the only artist to have an original song appear on a NIN album. Jeordie White
Best known by his stage name, Twiggy Ramirez, when working with Marilyn Manson, Jeordie joined NIN during the 2005 With Teeth tour. He played both bass and guitar during live performaces, and has contributed to studio work. In addition to his musical abilities, he also co-stars with former NIN band mate, Aaron North in the webcomic Squires Of Dimness. He left the band in 2007.
